Mathematics is a plus, I hope that includes geometry. The ability to write proofs shows analytic talent. You cannot really know math unless you can do physics, so I do not know what you mean when you say that you did not like it. Chemistry is an essential for medical school, as that is what drugs are made out of is chemicals. So, to pass the entrance exams you need to know General and Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Genetics.

Human Anatomy and Physiology by Elaine N. Marieb
The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics (ignore most of the molecular biology)
The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy (now free online)
Along with this get a good illustrated medical dictionary.

The 6 year courses usually have a foundation year, where you work on more general medicine. How the more intelligent/confident tend to go for the 5year course, just because it means you graduate a year early.
This one’s fairly light on specifics, but HTC CEO Peter Chou has given an interview to The Wall Street Journal where he dropped a few interesting tidbits, the most notable being that HTC’s growth in the US is apparently “faster than others.” Exactly what that translates to in actual numbers is unclear, but Chou did say that HTC expects to ship more than the 5.5 million to 6 million smartphones it shipped in the US last year.
