Do you believe in star signs, and does compatibility star signs matter?

The boy im falling in love with has a star sign that says we are not destined to be together, now i don’t know if i believe in star signs, but this concept scares me! Are any of you in love with someone who does not have a compatible star sign? Did/Does your relationship work?
I’ve never felt this way with anyone, i feel like i could spend the rest of my life with this guy. it kind of scares me that i could feel like this

Star signs are completely bogus. Please for the love of God don’t base relationships off of that nonsense. If you like/love someone, you just do.
I checked my sign and such and guess what? My girlfriend of over a year, whom I love, cherish, and think about constantly is completely “incompatible” with me according to astrology. lol garbage

Astrology has an influence but human being are not robots so we make our own decisions regardless. As for signs being compatible, it takes more than just a sun sign, you must look at the rest of the chart. And speaking of which – a synastry or numerological comparison chart won't tell you yes or no, what they tell you is the postive aspects and the negative aspects. They are used to gain a clearer picture of both yourself and the other person seperately and together and also can be used as a guide to understanding each other and overcoming any obstacles in the right way.
They are not used to decide if you will love or date someone – these things, like tarot or clairvoyant readings are a helpful guide and were never meant to be an exact science otherwise we'd have nothing to learn now would we.
And no, tarot readings etc are not good luck or the power of suggestions.
Sigh.. yet another edit – please do not, not , not and not again go to a website and enter your details etc etc. Seek a reputable astrologer and get your chart done personally.
